Corporate Social Responsibility

While there is no general consensus on the definition of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), the World Business Council for Sustainable Development (WBCSD) defines CSR as follows: "corporate social responsibility is the continuing commitment by business to contribute to economic development while improving the quality of life of the workforce and their families as well as of the community and society at large". In past years, The UN Global Compact, The OECD Guidelines for Multinational Enterprises, and the Electronic Industry Code of Conduct (EICC, promoted by global brand companies in the electronics industry) have all asked business sectors to pay attention to their performance on human rights, labor issues, the environment, and corporate governance while pursuing profit and growth.

For Delta, CSR covers the company's self-management, its symbiotic relationship with stakeholders, and caring about the environment. Being a corporate citizen, we value corporate governance and generating the maximum benefits for our shareholders, employees, and the community by continuously innovating and developing products with high added value and by providing employees with a work environment where they can reach their full potential. We also continue to uphold the ideal of "Quality First" and we work closely with our customers and suppliers to create mutual benefits.

Moreover, with "Care for the Environment, Energy-saving and Our Green Earth" as a major theme of Delta's CSR, we implement environmentally sound practices in our daily operations and product design to live up to Delta's corporate social responsibilities.
